Is it really free?
Yes. Everyone gets 20 scans a day, reset daily, as long as you have joined @botsbyamit, where we post updates about all our bots. Paid plans add more scans, the premium engine and bigger PDFs.
What can I send?
Photos, screenshots, image files (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, TIFF) and PDFs up to 20 MB. For the best results, photograph pages straight and well lit, or send them as files to skip Telegram compression.
Which languages does it read?
Dozens, including English, Hindi, Arabic, Persian, Russian, Indonesian, Malay, Uzbek, Portuguese and Chinese. The language is detected automatically; use /language if a result looks off.
What happens to my images?
They are processed and deleted right away; we never store them. The extracted text is kept encrypted for 7 days so you can switch formats and export it, then deleted. /deletedata removes it sooner.
Can I use it in a group?
Add the bot to your group and reply /ocr to any image. You can also mention it in a reply to an image in any chat.
How do I pay?
In the bot, send /upgrade. You can pay with Telegram Stars right inside Telegram, or by card and other local payment methods on botsbyamit.com. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be turned off any time with /subscription.
